Born in Argentina in the early 1970s, I was exposed to the world of motorsport magazines during the late 70s and early 80s. I was mesmerized by the dynamic photos of Formula 1 races and rallies, often wondering how such intense moments could be captured so perfectly. This sparked a deep curiosity about photography, setting the stage for what would become a lifelong passion.

In 1983-84, I first picked up a Kodak Instamatic, initially using it to document large brush piles blocking the street—hoping to report them to the city. What started as a simple excuse to use a camera soon grew into something more meaningful. It was my first glimpse into the power of a camera, igniting my fascination with the art of capturing the world.

In 1992, I bought my first SLR, which opened up new possibilities for exploration and expression. After immigrating to the USA in 1995, I continued my analog journey until 2001, when I embraced digital photography through Canon gear. Over the years, I worked as a press photographer, capturing events and weddings along the way. Still, it felt like I was just taking photos, more than BEING a Photographer.

After stepping back for some time, I now return to photography—humbled and eager—as a student once more. My focus is on rediscovering the elements that make a photograph timeless: light, composition, and artistry. Today, my goal is learning to paint with light, approaching each frame with the thoughtful eye of an artist.
